You can only have sympathy for him as the road back from any injury can be a lonely place despite football being a team sport. He would have spent hours and hours in rehab to get back to a position to be considered for first team football and for that to be taken away again so quickly is so cruel.

You've misconstrued things...look at posts on page one and two???
Whats the diffrence between joking at buckley's cheesy hamstrings and hoskins relentless injury's ?

He had lots of different injuries, one of which was a broken leg by Gary Dicker in training. Please don't try and justify that as being a sick note.

Another groin injury, he said he heard a pop, currently swollen, having an mri scan at the John Radcliffe today. Tweeted that in a lot of pain, didn't sleep well. He's also being looked at by the physio's today, for a medium term assessment.
Not looking too good for him. He's received quite a few messages from you guys.

Wasn't it a broken foot? Allegedly stopped him going to palace with Murray coming back. Amazing to think he had hardly been injured before coming to us.

So being injured and off work isn't seen as being a sicknote?
If I broke a leg and was off work I'd be seen as being a sicknote:D

Wether its a broken leg or flu it comes under the same category

After reading this thread, I don't think you would be seen as a sicknote. More likely seen as a t**t regardless whether you were at work or not :D

In my view a sicknote is someone who is always taking time off sick for minor ailments. Someone who takes 10 separate days off sick is a sick note.
Someone who is off work for 10 weeks with a serious illness is not. In my opinion Hoskins was not a sicknote just unlucky, as he was always out long term.

Feel genuinely sad that it didn't work out for him with us. I remember being really excited by his signing at the time - good luck to him.

Perhaps we could just wish him well and move on? Is there a place for a special argument sub forum with sections for five or ten minute arguments?

That could work, but you would need a third sub section for mere contradiction.

Poor bloke. He genuinely seems cursed, I suppose he's just more prone to injuries than others, unfortunate!
