I want us to win but I think Ukraine will win 2-1.
It is possible that we will make it 2-2 and take it to extra time.
If that happens then we will win 3-2 after extra time.
What may go in our favour is Ukraine used an epic amount of energy against Sweden and a few injuries which may help us.
But I still think this will be more challenging than people think.

Yes.

Confident on this one.

If Ukraine score first, it’ll be a very hard evening but I expect a second half goal and 1-0 win in Rome.

They were the worst of the 3rd placed qualifiers, are ranked 24th in the world to Englands 4th, played extra time, took a load of injuries and potentially have one of their best players out, have had to travel more than us...

Ukraine 1-0 England

Who's the potential injury?

(Don't say Artem Besyedin)

Imagine a park.
Now imagine a walk in that park.

You have just imagined this match. Onwards to Wembley!

Yarmolenko looked to be really struggling and went down before being subbed in extra time on Tuesday night.

Whilst there appears to be a lot of press around how extra motivated he is I question whether he will be at 100%

It may have just been cramp/tiredness but with his injuries in the last year could be a concern

Said before the game against Germany, we would beat them and lose in the next game. I really hope not.

Took a punt on a final ticket today, so that’s probably put the mockers on it.

Its going to be Iceland revisited, with newspapers showing turnips, umbrellas and calling opposition players winkers and the referee a Swiss banker.

That bloody banana skin some erk had dropped was unexpected…

I think it’ll be tougher then people think.

Sadly many England fans expect/demand entertaining 3 or 4-0 wins for no good reason (look at the criticisms some are still making). I think these people will be disappointed regardless of the outcome.

Sounds familiar.

I'm lucky insofar as my bookie has given me a free bet which I lumped on Ukraine to win at 8/1. A kind of insurance bet.

So doubtless they will win on penalties so I can't even have compensatory indulgence if England lose...

I think that we should win this one.

Whether we actually do is another question.
