I normally couldn't be paid to watch it but it is like a car crash you can't look away from. They don’t, at this stage, know if he broke the law. We shall see what the investigation produces. He clearly broke lock down regulations. He clearly lied to the press, the public and the Tory Party. He is guilty as sin.

That's correct but an investigation hadn't started.

It has now, the Police started interviewing witnesses this week.

They've already taken a statement from the retired Chemistry teacher.

It's being handled at a high level by senior Durham police offices.

They are embarrassed because they gave the wrong information regarding speaking to Cummings father. They did, but that was prompted by him regarding security.

The police up to this point haven't tested whether he broke the law and/or regulations but are now today actively doing so.

I suspect they will "focus" on why he didn't inform the DVLA about an existing eye condition prior to driving.
