Just think 'Allardyce', then think again about Capello.

Erm simply No.

Some people need some perspective, McClaren didn't qualify and neither did we under Taylor in '94.
The press would like you to believe he is hated but many people I have spoken to (and read on here) don't have that view

Spot on mate.

If Capello was to leave or get fired or whatever.

Do people think Copello would be a good choice?

I know. ten consecutive wins, something that NO England manager has ever accomplished, not even if you want to go back to some pre-war era when England were 'good' by default (because other countries had only just started playing). And yet people can STILL ask idiot questions like "Will Capello be the most disliked England manager ever?" Unbelievable.

Apart from Revie there's also that world famous bottler Keegan as well.

Is the right answer although I remember Revie walking out on us. I don't have a lot of respect for him either.

Revie surely must be the most despised England manager, completely reviled
-rightly in my opinion-for walking out on England to take arab money.I actually
hated Eriksson as well

On the subject of Capello, i believe at international level you need to be
able to communicate and get your ideas over to the players, which in my
opinion is an area that Capello is lacking in

Oh dear. Are we just a bit THICK in this country or is it specific to the football fans?

Maybe, just MAYBE, it has something to do with the players?

Means nothing when it comes to International management in my opinion.
Those just got him the job.

I've always been positive mate! After all I was one of the few who genuinely thought we had a chance in the summer. An outside one but a chance nonetheless.

But I've also been a realist - that's where you and I usually fall out!:lolol:

For me he at least English but was simply a joke. I truely dislike Capello, and a non-english Manager full stop!

I know it's been said before, but how ironic is it that the people who criticise Capello for not being English have so much trouble with the English language themselves.
