Will Brighton Ever Win A Major Trophy?

The Championship title trophy - 'the Old Lady' is the same trophy that was held aloft by the top flight winners for decades until the introduction of the Premier League.

Winning that trophy is certainly a possibility. And I'd call it major, not least for it's history, but also it's modern day ramifications.

The likes of Reading, Palace, Bournemouth, Pompey, QPR have all won this. Sadly Brighton have not, as yet.

We can't even win a semi final in a six team competition, what chance of we got of actually getting to any final again?

Tony Bloom fully deserves to see his club in a Wembley final of SOME kind, as an absolute minimum return on his investment. As a fan, he'd be absolutely CHUFFED.

I think we can say that he DESERVES it.

Has nobody heard of the Sussex SENIOR Cup?

More realistically once we are in the Premiership I think you'll find we will give the league and FA cups a right good go. As others have said Palace somehow limped in the final of the FA Cup last season, why cant we.

Also statistically we have reached the FA Cup Final once for every four years we have spent in the top division, so if we go up this season by 2021-22 we should have reached the final again. Lovely stuff. Just booking a hotel near Wembley now.

We have a chance of winning one this season if we keep squad together with a couple of additions. The championship trophy is major enough and has history.
