Will Brighton ever get as good as the late 70's/early 80's again?

Yep, we'll have our period in the sun again and we'll shine brighter. We kept all our players back then (loyalty) because we paid top wages. Mark Lawrenson always mentions that we outbid Liverpool on transfer fee and United on wages to get him from Preston. Mike Bamber was a man in a hurry and he was going to build top down with managers and squad. Bloom has talked about an Albion for the next 100 years, so it's clearly going to be long-term (£175m) with state of the art infrastructure. The board have got to hold their nerve but realise the prize might be getting farther and farther away as the Prem TV deal gets more monstrously distorted.

Well the Brighton music scene is pretty exciting at the moment, it's a shame you're all too over the hill to enjoy it.
