I am guessing you accept that your list does not necessary reflect the power within the club ???

I did not post the list. I was just pointing out that many of those shareholders are not on the board of directors. Some seem confused about the difference between a director and a shareholder.

Then thank God that a fair few of the money men on the board, and certainly the biggest one, is a fan first and money man second

That can be the problem, we that post on here are football fans first, its just that we dont have fantastic wealth.

If we had fantastic wealth, the views on here would actually become reality for our football club !!!

Being a football fan with fantastic wealth doesnt necessarily qualify for good sound footballing decisions, does it ??

No it doesn't, although I wouldn't put Dick Knight down as having "fantastic wealth"! Maybe he has when compared to you and me but not when compared to some other Chairmen.

Given the choice between a money man and a fan I'd go for a fan every time assuming he has a reasonable amount of dosh, although a fan with fan with fantastic wealth would be best!

No. But the decision to replace Wilkins was made by people who were in full possession of all the FACTS concerning his performance in the job. The rest of us are just pissing in the wind. So we can spend the summer going round in circles arguing the toss over whether the decision to ditch Wilkins was right or wrong, but the only truth of the matter is that nobody posting on this monstrous thread actually knows anything for sure.

Time will tell whether this proved to be a sound footballing decision or not.

I passed your shop 'Easy News' just down the road from Brighton Station, on Saturday. Business good?

Wilkins hasn't exactly had job offers raining in from all angles like some predicted on here....

Everyone made that assumption about McGhee when he decided not to jump straight back in, since he did decide to come back into management he's done rather well at Motherwell, been offered the Hearts job and been on the shortlist for the Scotland job, so I wouldn't read to much in DW not wanting to jump straight back in after what happened to him here. We're gonna be paying him for the next two years if he takes his time deciding, so he's not gonna be on the breadline and it doesn't mean that he hasn't had offers.

Not too good at all to be honest hans. For some reason, nobody believes a damn word in any of my news publications any more. I'm thinking of selling up and opening a small tobacco shop in Streatham.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. You can guarentee that a negotiation will have settled his pay. Don't forget, one of the reasons he stalled on signing in the first place was because DK wanted a 'Notice Period' added into the contract. You can bet your life that has been invoked now (and I bet it's not more than 3-6 months).

Would that be new shares being issued or someone selling?

I would imagine another new share issue. Not guarenteed but i would imagine this would be a route to extra money for players/wages for the season before the new stadium.

I am at Withdean tomorrow so will keep my ears open

Extra money could also be generated if some of the the £30M loan note facility arranged for the CSC (Stadium Company) earlier this year has been taken up; thus enabling some/all of the Falmer costs (est £3M?) to be repayed to BHAFC Ltd.

Not too sure what's happening along that line?

I would be asking Lord B on that front
