Why don't you judge him on what is the situation he is in. MMs time with the club had been coming to an end, the team was looking a little lost and as an experienced manager it looked like he had run out of ideas.
Wilkins is a young manager who may need time to learn his trade, inevitably he will make some mistakes. I am more interested in giving him time to see if he learns from his mistakes because some of his ideas have been good. Now I don't want to go down but I would like to see him given a chance.
