Because performances since the Tranmere game have been quite good, and this has been reflected in results.

I am not a Wilkins liker, and i don't think he's a particularly good manager. However, only the negative 'play for a draw' Tranmere performance truly pissed me off. And even then i couldn't really admit that sacking him would have much of an effect.

Fortunately, since then we've tried to play attacking football. It doesn't work every time (it very nearly didn't against Cheltenham, and didn't get us a result against Orient). I was quite pleased with both though, as we were playing ATTACKING football. It's been generally ok to watch, and the good results have papered over the (in my opinion) obvious managerial cock-ups, which do still exist. Subs, set pieces and selection to name but a few.

Oh, and let's not forget the fact that we're watching mainly better players at the moment (bar some exceptions), meaning less general discontent. :)

Because, although performances are still poor, we are picking up points.

It's really that simple.

It's really that simple.

The Tranmere performance was solid, against one of the stronger clubs in this division.

The Oldham performance was very good.

The Orient performance was also very good, however we failed to finish our chances.

The Gillingham performance was good, despite a poor spell in the second half

I think people just like to moan on here, and unfortunately Wilkins is the target of ignorant blame!

Because he has actually started to do his job properly?

I would say it was more that he has got the right bodies in and plugged the gaps left by Savage, O'Callaghan etc.

Our form slumped and we had an incredibly weak bench for a crazy Christmas/New Year period. We now have the right bodies in to push us forward.

I fanc us taking at least a point off Carlisle.

The Oldham game was good , large chunks of the Orient game was good

Gillingham was good for 20 mins at the end of the 1st half

Cheltenham was good for the last 10 mins

Can't remember Tranmere game
