Not surprising really. I did mention a few weeks ago that if we beat Leeds or Hartlepool that Wilkins would be up for MoM.
However I Wise is going to win it again, although in the circumstances Wilkins should be ahead of him, given the quality of the two teams they each have.

Wise should be disqualified EVERY month on the grounds of his CUNTISHNESS.

dennis doesnt even want the awards.

they cut his arms and legs off then they took his balls. like he said nothing from the fl will be going on his mantelpiece this year. two fingers to the fl.

give it to the swansea one.

The most curious thing..
Isn't there usually a curse on this. The winner almost invariably looses every game the next month. A bit like the chairman's vote of confidence curse.

Being as Wilkins hasnt cheated his way into tempting in as many players as he wants to the club all on juicy contracts (having stiffed umpteen creditors in the process), but has instead worked within his means, he would be a far more deserving recipient of the award than that little arsewipe at Leeds.

They don't usually give it to the same manager two months running unless there are no other credible candidates, therefore I guess Swansea's boss will get it (haven't looked at the contenders, just assuming from the posts above).

Leaving all cuntishness about Dennis Wise aside, can we just say a big 'well done' to Wendy for getting even nominated.

No matter what the criteria are, and appreciating that there is still a lot to do, and that we are still a long way from being where we want to be, Wilkins work is, on some levels, beginning to pay off. How many on here - especially those with the 'he was only the cheap option' attitude - would have seen a Manager of the Month nomination so early into the season back in August?

Fair play, Wendy.

Its all based on points.

The team that gets the most points in the month has, by definition, the Manager of the Month.

So that's how the award is decided.

What would be the point in having nominations then?

There is no credit in the nomination - its is just the top four clubs in each divsion for that particular month. This months nominations are Dennis Wise (Leeds), Roberto Martinez (Swansea), John Ward (Carlisle) and Wendy.

And from the league table based on results in October, one can see how the nominations are arrived at........

1 Leeds United (6) 5 4 1 0 8 3 5 1.60 0.60 2.60 13
2 Swansea City (2) 4 4 0 0 13 3 10 3.25 0.75 3.00 12
