Wii release tomorrow

Have two on order from PC World, with an extra controller, Twilight Princess and Monkey Ball, all for £259.

They confirmed on Wednesday that the order was being processed.

Apparently, up to 1/3 of pre-ordered stock across the country (regardless of who you ordered it with) won't be available tomorrow due to the consoles being held up in transport (in Germany, I believe, not that it matters).

I'm not making this up, it's from a genuine communication that we got at work (Woolies), today.

Yeh, same.

It's all bollocks though. How convenient that the PS2, PSP, 360 and Wii have all been 'held up in transport'. It doesn't take a genius to work out that if there is an alledged 'shortage', the press hypes it up, the goods become more desireable, demand increases and long term profits boom.
