Derby worry me.

They're gonna be the Burnley of this season.

There is always a drop of form with Dutch Schteve.

In their next six games, they have Fulham, Birmingham, Wigan, Norwich, Leeds & Reading. That's 5 of the top ten. We can worry if they are close to us after those games.

Competition strengthens the breed.

Hopefully tonight's results will generate an extra zip in training tomorrow and ensure that the focus is maintained, just as our win last night will have galvanised our rivals.

Brighton / Hove actually
7 straight wins, 6 clean sheets in 7 of those! That is indeed a worry :(

I've got to hand it to McClaren, he does get Derby playing good football in this league. Winning 7 in a row is what promoted teams do at some point of the season. I think we have had a couple of 4's.

If we are averaging 2 points a game and Derby are averaging 3 points a game that gives us until Feb to be neck and neck. Clearly they will drop points but that's the earliest they will catch up with us unless we make a pigs ear of it.
