Wife's First (and only) Game

took my missus to Notts County away in 1983, to witness a drab 0-0 draw. She hated
it and vowed not to go again. Did'nt help that her family are from Notts and she was cheering on County!

She didn't travel there by minibus by any chance, did she?

The missus has only been to two games, both at the Goldstone, both midweek. First was a 1-1 draw with Leicester. The second was a last-minute 2-1 win over Pompey. We were one down for most of the game and somehow in the last few minutes Mick Quinn got sent off for Pompey then we scored 2 in injury time to snatch the win. She hasn't been back since.
