I told an ex when she started this that i dont ring her asking wether to macro excel graphs so I dont expect her to ring asking why the washing machine sounds funny. Then I added "know your place" which kind of f***ed up having sex for a week.

One, you're taking this way out of context. I have omitted the 'darlings' and 'loves'. And two, seeing as you haven't got the full story, I don't see how you think you're actually in a position to tell me - or indeed comment - on how me and my better half ought to conduct our relationship.

Fair play, Your post just seemed to come across as cold, and putting the phone down on a loved one is just something to me is just not done.
As you say i don't have the full story and i was not meaning to be personal about it, its not my nature.
