That last half of ET, there was a nervy atmosphere and a few people couldn't believe Grealish going off and the fact we didn't go for goal on some of the chances we had but really perfect way of seeing the game out. Danes looked knackered and were down to 10 men so keep the ball, make them chase and they can't score. Over commit players going for a 3rd, or shot that Schmichael saved and we could have been at the wrong end of a counter-attack

Exactly this. At the time (like with so many of Southgate's decisions during this tournament), I was thinking "are you sure Gareth?" But in reality it was genius, especially in light of the rumours that Southgate and co. have been studying how teams win tournaments. Essentially he banked on a 5-man England defence having to hold out 10-man Denmark for 15 minutes. You don't get as far as England have without being able to trust your defence to do that. When it's put like that, it's really a no-brainer.

As I've probably mentioned, I'm not the greatest of fans of sockboy...aka....stirling mosses alter ego, but did I laugh when I tuned back in and saw the substitute had been substituted:lolol::tosser::thumbsup:
He could be such a good player, if he wasn't just so easy to hate. I do, I hate him. I would concede the euros to italy if it meant him and minge didn't play.
So, so childish I know, but he really does just piss me off big time

@%1;

Did you fall asleep on your keyboard again?

As I'm being asked to come up with clever reasons to bring students back on campus, in addition to tutorials with interpretative dance, I've decided to explore whether its possible to create a lengthy narrative with emojis.

Why did the England manager change the system to make sure he had the correct people in the correct positions to win a game.

This is quite the conundrum.
