Whilst you may be talking lightheartedly - it's not the turd that's revealed but the confession.

Not so much a confession as a tall story with the punchline at Brighton's expense. There is no actual evidence that it was the coach driver.

Also, why would he go in the changing rooms when there is a toilet on the coach?

If my memory of the story/video is correct. I thought it was one of the kit van men who had been caught short, hence why he didn't go on the coach due to them arriving a few hours before the team.

It was the coach driver. Steve Parish said as much.

The description of the Mullery incident is also incorrect. He didn't throw coins at the Palace fans, he went into the Palace dressing room, threw a fiver on the floor in front of Venables.

The article is hopeless and if I was Oatway I'd be pretty pissed off!

Anybody who travels on a coach regularly, will know that coach toilets are for urine only.
