Game over for POs, but I didn't think we'd quite make it anyway. Still, v.happy with the season overall - no complaints. Onward and upward.

We'd have made it If Gus played attacking football against the lower teams and played defensive football against the top teams instead of playing defensive football every f***ing game.

You fancy us more away from home than at home then? Have you been watching our games?

Wow there are some picky guys around this evening.

Before today in current form league, Watford 3rd, Burnley 20th.

Home or away if we had any chance of the playoffs we needed to get at least a point.

Where do you think the 10 or 11 pts needed out of the last 6 games are gonna come from now?

After the next 2 games bearing in mind we are playing 2 of the top 3 teams we could be out of it.

Picky? Do you post just so people agree with you? All I'm saying is that we have 3 home games where this year we have been excellent against in form teams such as Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich. Obviously points today would have been massive, but there are 15 points still to play for, some results go our way tomorrow and a great result against Reading and it all changes again. Gutted today, but no good throwing toys out of the pram and saying it's all over.

In answer to your question: Reading 1, West Ham 1....and for the grand stand finish: Watford 3, Brum 3, Barnsley 3 Total 74pts!!!

Seagulls!!!

Don't get me wrong I am more than happy how this season has gone. I am amazed with the players at Gus's disposal where we are.

I just think there have been some great opportunities missed this season and today was one of them.

The problem for me is you can look at the teamsheet before the game and think "that's not gonna work" and it doesn't every time.

Today is an example of that and Millwall at home was another (I know we got a point but it was a cockup in selection).

Call me sad but I've got to the point where my matchday experience is so largely influenced by team selection. Without a winger we are clueless and I though Gus had learnt this ages ago.

My oversight didn't realise cardiff were playing Boro.

Talking of the championship lets see how easy Westham find playing at Barnsley now.

Pretty damn easy, I think.

You just saved me typing the same thing.I am happy where we are but the team selections are so frustrating. Why even bother getting those 2 from Man City.Razack is man of the match in his first full game, has one mediocre game and thats his lot.Assulin has looked good from what i have seen but no,he's out the picture.Lua Lua is man of the match against Derby then out the team for the next home game.
All this, yet he keeps persisting with the Navarro/Bridcutt double act which has seen us become so negative.

We're hanging in there but Gus has said it himself that draws maynot be enough so why is he not going for the win. If we go a goal down the best we get this season is a draw and recently the lineup in attack has been strange. I know people are going to shout at this but we've looked better when Vicente has come off the bench with 30 mins. to go so that he can tear defences apart.
