i cannot believe this decision.

our back line is now reid, butters, dodd, mayo.

what are we doing?

we must really, really, really be in the shit.

we want falmer but we want to be in a decent league when we get there!

we have now lost harding, virgo and hinsh might never be the player he was.

this is a very sad day :(

I feel your pain brother but we also have El Abd, Hinsh coming back and this Nigerian guy sounds tasty, we'll be fine. £1.5 mil is a very good price.

I feel exactly the same, i know we needed the money. Maybe this will show Prescott we need the stadium to survive, or we will have to sell our best players

:lolol:

I can think of £1.5 million reason why we should sell. Have you been shut away for the last 10 years? We need the money desperately.

I'm genuinely not to pissed off about it all. We have no right to prevent a promising youngster persuing his career at a MASSIVE club. Especially when it's someone who has already given so much to the club.

Good luck Virgs!

that is a ridiculous attitude!

we have sold zamora, currie, cullip and harding for very good money.

this is a money pit- yes we need to pay of debtors but can we really afford to lose our most outstanding player?

we wont see any of this money spent on players (whose available?) and will really struggle now.

call me pessimistic but i find this a little hard to take.

el abd needs a lot of work. the nigerian guy is actually from the west indies and i have seen him play more than once and can assure he is no better than joel lynch. hinsh has a SERIOUS injury.

virgo was our best player by MILES and would die for the club.

Need the money or not, £1.5 million is a very good price for a player with one season's experience of English football's second tier.

He's a good player but looking at it relatively, he wasn't as good as Zamora and he only went for the same price.

Good bit of business.

If he loves the club that much he'll 'fail to agree personal terms'.

Imagine how motivated Virgs would be if the club had turned down such an outstanding offer for him. I'm glad the club showed the same loyalty to Virgs as he has shown the club.

Good luck to you, Jocko. Thanks for everything.
