Barnes is meant to be a foward not a defender so defeats the object of him being on there if our defenders and some midfielders cant do there jobs of defending then they should be replaced

This re Hoskins, Buckley, KLL, CMS and Vicente + AelA - been saying it for ages. At the moment we're doing the best we can (which ain't too shabby!!) with half the team sidelined.

exactly. all the points we can. when we should win, we score, and then let the other team dominate us. Coventry, Forest. It's ok against better teams, like leeds, and blackpool, but we were winning 2-0 in both of those games, were we not? It is a tough league, but shouldn't we be beating teams that are at least 5/6 places below?

Barnes was extremely poor again today but he is being played out of position. Unfortunately for him Craig MS has his position.

I too fail to understand why Gus thinks Barnes is a better midfielder in that position than KLL or Buckley.

Phew. We mustered 1 shot on target today. I really believe Harley could of picked a way through the defence, more vision than Barnes (not his fault, being played out of position) and as you say, is much more valuable than he gets credit for.

I must have been watching a different game, i thought barnes was palying alot better than painter but he takes barnes off and leaves painter on, beyond me. Painter cant keep up with the play and noone was below his usual standard today yet we take off barnes. And we bring on Lualua and hardly use him.
