Why kill the tiger? Tigers are dangerous - it was doing what tigers do. It just seems vindictive to kill the poor thing for what was obviously a mistake on the part of the zoo keeper.

It's their own fault for getting rid of Craig, he hand reared most of those white tigers and was able to control them, I'm sure they weren't quite so respectful of different keepers.

I suspect they had very little choice.You always run that risk when you keep wild animals of that power in captivity.

There was that stupid fat german bint who decided to go swimming with polar bears in their enclosure a few weeks ago. She got a good MAULING as well, but I don't think they destroyed the bear afterwards. Quite right too. The bear was only trying to improve our gene pool, and nearly succeeded.

Wild animals should not be kept in enclosures but in this case people have no choice otherwise the species would go out of existence.
