Why is the Costa bus so expensive?

It is ridiculously expensive, i looked at it to go to Leicester this season at it was £35!!!!!
Luckily for me it was that expensive so i decided not to go as i don't think it made the game due to the terrible traffic that night on the motorway

I go by the Costa express to games where going by train is not the best option. I rarely drink when going to matches, so the no alcohol rule doesn't affect me anyway. As for the price, some games can be a bit expensive, and on those occasions I will go by train (Milton Keynes for example).

People can knock the Costa express, and the people who go on it, all they want, but I can bet my life they have never set foot on one of her coaches before.

It will get you directly to the ground, and away with absolutely no hassle.

Anyone having a pop at people going on her coach, please grow up:wozza:

You are always going to pay more per mile for games nearer us than for games at Carlisle/Hartlepool.

The coach to Hartlepool was £37, and there were only 20 of us on the coach. Pretty good deal, and a journey I would never do on a train.

If you aren't in a rush to get there or back and don't drink, it is a good way of getting to matches.

I used to travel with Liz all the way up to Gillingham, and on more than one occaison she helped organise for me to be a ballboy, during the 4-4 with Colchester on Boxing Day, I handed a ball to the great Kerry Mayo! I was her paperboy for a while aswell, actually.

I like Liz, she's a lovely lady and occaisonally I travel on her coaches to games. I prefer to go by train personally, but I'm looking at going to MK with my stepdad and that'll be done by coach. It might cost slightly more, or in this case quite a bit more, but it's so much easier to just get on her coach and be taken straight to and from the match with no fuss. I'm quite lazy in preparing for away trips, so the occaisonal trip with her works well for me.

I have, or maybe unwelcoming is closer, does not exactly welcome new people.

twaddle - it is a fantastically cost effective, well organised and safe way of going to away games

Liz Costa is :albion2:through and through and doesn't deserve this crap being served up
