Having been off the board for a while, there seem to be several threads and comments relating to Kev The Ape. What exactly has triggered all this off. Looking though, I can't find THAT many threads started by him? ???

Kev hasn't really learnt how to use the board. He kept posting loads of really lame threads and generally winding people up. Some people got fed up with this, but as usual it degenerated into a feeding frenzy.

Anyway hopefully people have finished and will move on to their next target. Kev maybe should take a while to learn board etiquette before spamming the site with endless PES4 threads.

He is a young lad and a little excitable but he means well. Hell , he even did a special thread for his mums 50th birthday so he can't be all that bad.

Like quite a few new posters before him he went over the top and posted/started threads on anything and everything. This was quite rightly gently mocked as he was getting a bit irritating if for no other reason than the sheer volume. However as Voroshliov said it developed into a bit of a 'feeding frenzy'. Hopefully it's all calmed down now.

Not really, no. But you're supposed to be a Brighton fan, yes ? So why plaster your profile with Goonerisms ? Yes yes, Arsenal are the media's favourites right now, and you can hardly move in Churchill Square for O2 shirts everywhere, and they're a mile clear in the Premiership again, and they never lose, etc etc. But why affiliate yourselves with them like every other mug who only has a vague passing interest in football and so plumps for "the best", when you clearly have more taste and savvy than that cos you support Brighton.

Arsenal pictures and merchandise are either for genuine Gooners, glory hunters, or misguided eight year olds who don't know any better. I don't have you down as any of them, so do yourself a favour and get rid.

You know it makes sense

How can you have a second team, certainly at club level, never got my head round that one. I support Brighton home and away end of. If they are not playing I will go and watch all sorts of odd matches, including Thatcham v Whitchurch in the Wessex League a couple of years ago, but at no point do I go and watch a game because my second team are playing as I do not have one and never will.

Just find this second team stuff wrong.

Agreed.
Its Albion or nothing for me - I really couldn't give a stuff about any other team. I used to look out for Hull Citys result cos I'm from up there, but I hardly bother with that either now. My interest in other teams is only ever on a financial basis now when I have a bet riding on them. Other than that, its complete and utter indifference.

So what? Why should we care any more than you don't have a second team than we care that Kevin does have one? What's the problem here? Why does having a soft spot for another team necessarily affect how intensely you support the Albion? Believe it or not, people can walk and chew gum at the same time.

Afternoon, I guess you are in the mood for an argument as ever.

Well all I am saying is I cannot get my head around the second team thing, but then nor can I with rugby union, 4 players too many on the pitch if you have to watch rugby.
