Why is everone getting carried away?

Only 3 points clear of the drop zone.

It was only 3 points, and it's not like it was 3 away to a top 6 side, but the performance was great and the 3 points takes us so much closer to our target.

Before the game I speculated that we'd need 36 or 37 points. That's now just 2 wins and 3 or 4 draws. Wins don't grow on trees of course, we're still in a relegation battle, but it feels close now.
