Sorry but I must have missed FDM commanding his area? Not once in his career has he commanded his area and the back 4. I also do not think that he would have saved all 3 shots although I obviouslty do not have any proof of this. I know it is an opinion but IMHO you are very very wrong trying to campare FDM to Hendo. Hendo is quality and will get a lot better in time whereas FDM although he has been a good servant to the club was never as good as Roberts and will never be in the same league as Hendo.

As butters was on the left of the three at the back he was woefully exposed. If we were playing a three he should have been the player in the centre of the three.

On a number of occasions he has / nearly has cost us goals
because as soon as the left back is beaten he runs to the middle of the penalty area rather than out to the player with the ball. At this level he is a liability and should be dropped in favour of hinsh and mcshane at centre half. (shame many on here are too gutless to criticise him, just because last season he played well and his Mrs posts on here).

While I'm on the subject of players getting uncalled for praise on NSC, Henderson, whilst making some good saves yesterday (incidently all of which kuipers would have made) does not know when to come out and of his goalmouth and collect the ball. You could live with him just staying on his line (at least that would be consistent) but twice in the game yesterday he takes a couple of steps forward before changing his mind. There is nothing worse as a defender than an indecisive goalkeeper.

Right i'm off into hibernation for another year or so before posting. Maintaining a watching brief again.

Kuipers looked SHIT for Boston yesterday on the TV this morning.

Good theory, sounds plausible enough.

It certainly seemed to be the tactic. Lynch was really high up the pitch and it wasn't by accident. He was winning a lot of headers to link up with the forward players. Problem was they put three on three at the back, we changed to 4-4-2 with Butters left back and thats when he got skinned for pace big time as youd expect.

Nugent is quick, Danny Dichio is a big, clever centre forward - one I would love to have in our side - yet they didn't score (OK Henderson made a couple of good saves, but isn't what goalkeepers are supposed to do?)
