Out of interest - who do you think was to blame for our defeat against Yeovil? Did Wilkins instruct the players to play badly in the first half? We managed to play well against Millwall in the first half.

Wilkins, White and Chapman, they pick the team and decide the tactics and they got it all wrong.

On the field 2 major culprits Kuipers as both goals were soft goals that he would be expected to save and Hammond because he was non existant again.

The second point is crucial. Certainly they were two relatviely soft goals - are the management to blame for that?

If Hammond had put that chance away then we may have been looking at a totally different game. It would have bouyed the corwd and the team to start with.

I am not saying that they are blameless, but there are many mitigating factors involved.

For a start, Kuipers needs to recycle the ball wuicked, so we can batter them into submission. However, more often than not, he wants to roll it on the ground and kick from there. In the meantime, the opposition have found their feet/positions again. I am not singling him out, but that is one factor as far as I can see. Certainly when Henderson or Flinders were in goal, we got the ball out to the fullbacks in a split second and then pushed on from there.

.

YES because they perservere with playing somebody who is not good enough and should have sorted that out by now. It isnt as if it has only just happened, it has been said for a couple of seasons now and they knew the sitiuation when Henderson left and should have remedied it.

Also the same applies as regards the bad defending and the lack of goal scoring chances they decide who to play and what tactics to use whether it be long ball through the middle or whatever,

Kuipers was to blame ?

Blimey. That is harsh. Thst looks like having the culprit and making the facts fit. The first was effectively a one-on-one. Yeovil got the run of the ball. The second was a first time shot that went in off the foot of the post.

What a lot of tosh.

i was very disapointed that 2nd goal beat michel

dont think he is up to the high standards he set himself over the years

as someone said yesterday that amount of shot he stopped use to outweigh his flaws but if he's not making the saves then the flaws become more important

no one can tell me kuipers has made a point winning save in the 8 games we have had this season
