There is a clause in his contract that his actions as manager must start at least 18 threads a week on Albion related message boards and sitting in the North Stand rather than the dug out is a sure fire way to get at least 10 of those threads started.

and mis-managing the squad the remaining 8.

That is so that certain posters can undermine the man that is trying to build a new team, which is going to take time, at any given opportunity.

shouldnt the option "wilkins has lost it" be "wilkins never had it"?

and watch the crowds drop even lower

How would a new manager bring in new crowds? Would this new manager guarantee results? Or would it be better to give Wilkins a chance to make something of the team. We now have Whing, Forster and O'Callaghan which has added some quality. We have played some decent football this season. We just need to find some consistency and Wilkins needs to keep things simple and decide on his team.

He has already shown that he can bring in some decent names and it would be churlish to get rid of him now. He deserves until at least the end of the season, unless we are in severe danger of a big slump.

Out of interest - who do you think was to blame for our defeat against Yeovil? Did Wilkins instruct the players to play badly in the first half? We managed to play well against Millwall in the first half.

I think he does it because it makes him look like he is taking an intelligent and analytical approach to management/coaching rather than chest thumping inspiration and/or chastisement from the bench.
