From what i have seen so far he is lazy, cant win headers and is not especially quick. I wont mention the diving and the pink boots - other than that I guess its £350k well spent!

Good player who would be playing at a much higher level if he didnt dive, actually bothered in the air and was faster.

Edit: Oh and wore some sensible boots, im also not really sure what to think of his positional play at times. And i still dont like the fact we are relying on forster to poach goals e.g. from goal line scrambles e.t.c, next season we are going to be majorly f***ed unless TB gets the cheque book out

Nice to see the knives are out so early for our new striker, why do we always make our strikers feel so at home at BHAFC.

or maybee do not have an understanding of the game then?

We are reliant on forster at the moment which is not good considering he is getting on a bit. Whats also concerning is when we do score or come close to scoring inside the box Dickinson is unsually no where to be seen..

This is not a witch hunt against a player who I hope will do really well for us - its just that so far in my opinion he looks a bit crap

Basically he has a cracking shot and some good footwork but not much else.

He is very fast, I thought.

I thought so but at least once on saturday he picked up the ball with a defender behind him and they caught up pretty quick, not as fast on the ball as bennett, cox, davies e.t.c

Obviously you can't see whats going on when you're sat in the back of the family stand with your mum :bigwave:
Negative pricks like you should go off and support "Man United".

specifically watched him saturday, his first touch is crap, he is no good with his back to goal, for a six footer he jumps five foot, his movement is poor and struggled to bust a gut to get on the end of things, he looks raw but i think if better habits are coached into him, i can see he will get goals if the ball is played in front of him to run onto.

Errr...what ?

1. EVERY player would be "playing at a much higher level" if they were basically, ummm....better.

2. What sort of goals would you prefer Forster to score ? We've had a deftly guided header against Stockport, a thumping far-post header against Millwall, and a tap-in at the end of a nicely worked move against Wycombe. He's a striker, so like every other other football team on the planet, of course we rely on him to finish things off to help us get results. He's doing the job now, next season is a YEAR away, we've got some decent forwards at the club now so I wouldn't worry too much for now.
