It's a decent town in terms of standard of living- nice neighbourhoods etc. For decent nightlife you gotta head into Brighton though, it's good for the restaurants but the bars are shyte.

thats my point. Only BN1 and 2 is Brighton, the whole town. Wierdo Elderly Theatrical Types is BN3, and BN9 is the Peacehaven Wild Kids. The only postcodes that neighbour Brighton itself. Anything else is irrelevant.

We still have that system here in Dublin (where its used a lot) and Cork (where its, err, nearly completely ignored actually...). Legacies of being in Britain that nobodies bothered to change...
