[Football] Why can’t the home Europa league games be at 5:45 as well?

6:45pm would be an excellent kick off time.

Some would have to leave work an hour early, but you've got weeks to arrange that, the great majority will be able to.

You can get kids there and back home at a sensible time for school the next day
But 6:45pm is European time, it would have to be 5:45pm UK time to allow them to have back to back games on TV

I'm quite happy at Thursdays ko time thankyouverymuch.

Its my BIRFDEE, so I've secured a notional day of "WFH". I'll log off around 3.30 and mince along to Shoreham for some beerage and nosebag at the Waterside to take the game in.

Scenes.
Happy BIRFDEE. Say hi to Tom behind the bar for me, he's my son. 🙂

Us retired folk would love it!

I would also add that there are some objections from us "old" folk, we'd have to record Tipping Point and The Chase, but the upside will be heading out on the early train, with our picnics, and grabbing a couple of beers in town before we hop on the Falmer Express around 4.30
