Why can the Ref not see what we could all see

At 12 the match is ON and 1 the match if OFF as it will get colder.

At 12 it was likely to get colder at 3pm and at 11am it was also likely to get colder by 3pm. In other words, why let the Northampton fans drive for another hour down the motorway (2 hours altogether), let a lot of the Albion fans set off who would have still been at home at 12.

If they had even said at 12, 'we are unsure and will have another look at 1pm' it would have been better.

After the same fiasco with the Gills game last year, this is the reason I won't attend games when the weather is likely to be cold. I have to travel from Kent to get to games and would have probably left home having checked the game was still on before 12. Refs must do better.
