Why are you not happy being a Brighton fan right now?

Not the real one
Methinks your comment about the possible replacement of OG by a traditional manager doth belie your name, captain Sensible.

I would have thought that, on current evidence, that is not likely to happen.

I have to be honest, it's only a prediction and I dearly hope I'm wrong. However I have a feeling that all is not right on the playing side. I think even when the big players return that results and performances will not improve. As I said, I hope I'm wrong and will be singing and supporting the team and OG tomorrow.

Not pointless at all. I worry everyone seems to think when the players come back everything will be fine and dandy with no more injuries and we will steamroll the division.

No, no they don't.

Firstly 'everyone' never thinks the same thing. I think most people believe that with a largely full we should be pretty competitive. It's very rare for anyone to 'steamroll' this division, and we certainly will not be one of those exceptions.

Always happy as i love the Albion no matter what. There are always things we could moan but very few things put a smile on my face like there will be this weekend. What more could you ask for. A brisk wonters day, ideal for football, 28k in the stadium, me at the stadium at 2pm for a few beers and a pie and hopefully a northstand in full voice having a good sing song against i would imagien a noisy away section

There are a max of 8,000 hard core Brighton fans, the others are not fanatics and therefore more likely to find fault, especially with costs, managerial problems, less than thrilling performances, transport.

Keeping up to 30,000 happy is never going to happen and like it or not the vast majority are either recent or returning fans who lost their mojo/had better things to do during the hard times.

Not a moan, not an I'm an uber fan just the stark reality imo...

We have been through so much shit that I am completely philosophical about what are really only a few minor problems...again just imo. I am loving being a Brighton fan even with the shite served up on Tuesday and some other lacklustre performance this season and last too.

As for the comments from Return of the Rev that the Withdean experience was better, that is just BOLLOCKS to me.

I don't..we weren't running riot without the injuries..but it certainly gives us a better chance and more options.. It probably will take a while for Ulloa to find his form but players like him r a joy to watch

I know it doesn't seem like it at the time, but losing games and watching poor performances is actually part of what makes football so addictive. You can't predict when those days come, but they always do, as all Brighton fans know by now.

Then, when you do win games and play well, it's all so much sweeter. I'm not sure that you get the same satisfaction watching a team like Man Utd who's expected to win every game and every trophy.

Losing against Barnsley, Newport County or even Seaford Town doesn't change anything for me. I'm a Brighton supporter because, frankly, I can't see an alternative.

I'm a pretty contented camper. We could be doing better on the field but i'm not a) expecting us to piss the league or b) going to flail and scream for Oscar's/Burke's/Barber's head/s or panic that we're going to be relegated etc. I'm just enjoying the season and hoping for a good outcome at the end of it. We've played better in recent years but this season for me was always one of transition so my expectations are not that high.

Only added a thousand hard core fans since moving from the Withdean?

Would love it if just occasionally we could play 2 up front at home, especially if we are losing, it would get the crowd going as well. Unfortunately even with everybody fit I don't think its ever going to happen.

But are they hard core?? How many would be there (if God forbid) we slid back into League 2? There are so many complaints about being a semi decent Championship side and our best sequence of results for 20 odd years. How many will there be if we have League 2 players added to all the other gripes?

Very happy, excellent results in November.

I may be unhappy tomorrow if the trains from Seaford are not running because of the flooding, replacement buses will be a nightmare.

i have supported The Albion since i was 11-12 ,my first game was charlton at the goldstone , 34,000+ , i was hooked from then........not sure if the players realise what an effect they have on the week of your average football fan, the general battering to the mojo that defeats such as palace and more recently barnsley , the feeling that some of the starting eleven can't really be arsed is like supporting , well , a team where the so called stars can't be arsed.......
at the moment i feel that the team is lacking ...BALLS.

you can take that any way you want.
