It's only looney. His fuzzy interpretation on facts will always be nothing less than a source of amusement to me, and most others I suspect.

Oh really Dimster? So youve never heard of Oppertunity Cost?

Youve never stopped to ask how much inward foreign investment these silly royal german fuckers have facilitated through Ambassadorial rolls?

Or how much funds and turnover is generated through their charities?

It may have escaped your notice but a lot of countries have monarchies and its a lot easier for our Germans to relate to them than a friggin politbeureu type regime.

Not Luton! Thank God
I don't mind Queenie being my head of state because it takes the decision out of my hands. I don't feel disenfranchised because she is my head of state, she just is.

I wouldn't want a politican to be the head of state and lord god I would not want a non-politician to be it either. Who would we have Richard Branson?? Alan Sugar ??

If you were Prince Chuck, married to a munter and with mumsy showing no sign of retiring, I'd be going off on as many junkets as I could. Good luck to him !

Because the royal family bring in more money through tourism and all that sort of stuff than they spend/cost?

It's funny how I've never ever heard a single person ever say they have come to the UK because of our current Queen.

i think we would see tourism to london pretty much dry up if we lost the royal family , god bless em.

As I have said, I've never heard a single person ever say they have come to the UK because of the current Queen.

it was a sad day for the nation when the queen mother died,

It did spawn one of the most inventive Albion songs I've ever heard though: '4-1, and no Queen mum!' after we'd just whipped Colchester.

'I can fast track you towards your brown wings, my dear.'

Whilst the figures do suggest that we should not be subsidising Charles, he made 600+ engagements in one year and works tirelessly for charity. I do not see the problem with it. They represent the country via a huge amount of charitable trusts and international diplomacy and I would not want to see the back of them.

I have always been a Republican (sorry Mum I can feel the vibration of you spining in your grave) but as the years have gone on I worry about what they cost less and less just so long as they balance the books who cares what they think or do and I'm sure there are more urgent things to worry about in the world than them.

I loathe everything that the royals represent but if it was between them and Mad Boris then we'd have to keep Liz and her lickers by default.

London first, next th entire country
