The club gives us all so much pleasure. No one is being forced to make a donation. It is down to the individual. If we can raise money to help everyone will benefit for years to come, hopefully.
We stood at Watford and applauded their fans for raising money to buy their ground back. Then knock our own club for asking for help.
Could the club not have sold shares for say £100 just to have an extra incentive ?
I've decided to donate some money by simply missing an away game.Instead of giving ticket money to another club, petrol money to BP or whoever, paying over the odds at service stations and missing a couple of beers. The average away game costs £100 more or less. Why don't we all miss the same game and donate the money to the club.Might get some press for the away end being empty ?If I hadn't already got my ticket Gillingham would have been an ideal game to mis, save giving them anymore revenue.
