West Ham got the hang off Birmingham now and Andy Townsend has been kept quiet. Still 2-3 though. Makes it all a bit desperate for Saturday. 86 mins.

How on earth can that be a penalty? The guy couldn't have possibly seen the ball to put his hand in the way, why would he anyway?

It was a superbly taken penalty

brum are light years away from us, and poor west ham form is great for us. brum win is better for us also as when they come here they will be relaxing as already in the PO's.

1. Brum are 6 points ahead of us but have West Ham tonight us and Reading still to play. So that 6 points can be stuffed quite easily.
2. Teams already i the play off do not relax as they want a better position to get the homer leg 2nd game.

I would still prefer a West Ham win if either have to win or better still a draw and then us win tomorrow against Reading. If that happens Reading will be going for automatic when they play Brum, last Saturday of the season I think.

If West Ham lose Big Sam will have them fired up against us and we may suffer a backlash, a win will make them think they are over the line and promoted virtually.

How are we going to stop West Ham pumping the ball into our box?
I don't know if anyone else has noticed but our captain Greer is not exactly the best in the air.

Two words to Brez 'NO PUNCHING'

Quite, let us hope we can retain the ball a bit better than Birmingham. They spent most of the 2nd half giving the ball straight back to West Ham. Ultimately they paid the price as it was only a matter of time before they conceded with the amount of balls into their box.
