I'm fascinated to see what it'll eventually look like inside. Stadiums where the fans are some distance from the pitch often lack atmosphere. Upton Park is a classic, hemmed in venue, with the crowd breathing down the players' necks. I can't imagine how the new place will in any way replicate that, so it's going to be a huge leap for the players.
Wembley is the same though, in the Upper tier you're miles away.
Its a shame though another classic English ground will soon be a housing estate.
As a stadium it looks absolutely soulless, no character whatsoever.
