It’s the player’s belief and confidence. The manager has responsibility for that too so it’s a bit of both. When it’s going for you they seem to fly in off your backside, when it isn’t you can’t hit a barn door with a banjo.

Which is much easier than hitting a cow’s arse with one too

The manager. The buck always stops with them for a reason

He selects the players and decides the strategy. Potter's decisions have failed to get us goals over a long period.

Maupay penalty a good example. Yes, Neal missed it, but he's had loads of chances to improve on his penalty record in the league and in shoot outs. Someone else, probably MacAllister should be taking them

Why isn’t Tony Bloom in the options?

That’s where my vote would have gone. Do I get an infraction warning?

My vow to try not to comment on Albion issues on here has lasted as long as a New Year’s Resolution

I’d have voted recruitment team……

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
I am guilty. I haven’t scored a goal in forty years.

Who have a budget given by TB and it’ seems it’s not enough for goal scoring players. Is it time to poach Brentford’s recruitment team, his old rival seems to have a better algorithm?

Tbf Tony is probably the reason why this poll isnt "who is going to play left back against Scunthorpe next week?"

And I’d have gone 50% recruitment/50% players. Certainly not Potter.

IMO he gets the absolute maximum out of an incredibly average bunch of players, he needs better tools to work with.

But also, some of the consistent, regular misses from Maupay and others are just not really acceptable from professional players, they’re letting their manager down time and again and he does nothing but defend them. They should be working harder on the training ground or with a psychologist to get over this block they’ve got.
