Well, not really David. Pointing out that the actress behind the voice of a cartoon character has a very different image, to the character itself, is significantly different to belittling a woman's claims of sexual abuse, because she's a 'bit plain', don't you think?

I wholeheartedly agree - hence the "shades of" rather than "this is just like". I should have been more fulsome in my explanation.
