Finally ticked QOTSA and Arcade Fire off my list this summer, whilst seeing other bands (Interpol & Mew) for the 6th and 4th times respectively.

Now top of my list are:

iamamiwhoami
M83
Baths
Junior Boys
Moderat
F*** Buttons
Douglas Dare
Washed Out
Tycho
How To Dress Well
Future Islands - missed them at The Great Escape

I'd welcome reviews (good or bad) on any of the above, if any have seen them.

Ironically, given that I already know Mellotron's views on them, the band top of my list that I've always managed to miss and who are still doing the rounds, is Interpol.

Worthing
Buddy Guy and ZZ Top are the two I really want to see.

I will admit that you've probably missed them at their best, but still worth a go if you like the music. Carlos had INSANE stage presence.

Glad to hear re: F*** Buttons.

Ones I've probably missed out on and am gutted to have:

Kraftwerk
David Bowie
Pink Floyd (ACTUAL Pink Floyd, i.e. with Roger Waters)

I've genuinely never heard of a single band in the OP's list

It was so much easier keeping up when Top of the Pops was on every week.

They're mostly dark electronic music, apologies.

Saw at Reading in the big tent. Absolutely superb. Highly recommended, the atmosphere was great in there.

For sure. Saw that Chvrches set on telly (just after Royal Blood) when I got back from the Albion the other week (assuming its the same set). Tether was gobsmackingly gorgeous  They seem to be plugged into some eternal US/Asia tour at the moment but hopefully will be back to see us sometime soon. Hard-working kiddies!

The Horrors

Had a ticket for their Worthing show last Friday, but as I only got to bed at 2.30am after seeing The Besnard Lakes in London the previous evening, and making the mistake of having a pre-gig early evening 'nap' that lasted to about ten pm, it means they as yet still remain unseen
