I think you must be mixing him up. Adams released him at the end of the 99/00 season.

He wasn’t really an Adams type of player, and got moved out. Before that he made some of the Priestfield trips half bearable.
I think you are mistaken (f*** me, I have gone eerily polite as I have gone senile). I deffo saw him at Withdean. Mostly on the bench. As the facts confirm:

Also, 'Super Rodney'....his name is Roderick. FFS. Our support can be f***ing embarrassing.

So you didn’t go to Priestfield then?
Only 99% of the time.

What am I missing here? Rod was in the squad and occasionally on the pitch after we returned to Brighton...

To be clear, he was not released at the end of the season before we went to Withdean.

Thats accurate - I’m not sure the running down his contract part is though.

He had several injuries and fell out of favour with Adams.

He was always going to make way for the summer signings, especially after we signed Zamora on loan mid season, and Hart & Freeman moved out wide.

He was DJ-ing in Brighton while recuperating from 'injuries' though. Call that flair, call that taking the piss? My money is on the latter.

Best wishes to you and your nuts

Ezequiel Schelotto.
Flowing locks, kamikaze runs down the wing and he made Zaha cry.
.....and if he had a horses body, he’d be a dead ringer for a Centaur.

I’m IN!

Alan Duffy. Scruffy, maverick, and did a shot that hit the left post, went behind the keeper, hit the right post and out again. I was behind the South goal and though I would never see such a thing again. Duffy just slumped away.
Heartwarming to see so many thumbs up for Duffy (70s version) and Maupay. Please would one of you second them, or they won't may the list. Same for the young Barco.

see above, nominations are closed

Duffy and Maupay both qualified

Probably too early for Barco, can see him as one for the future though

Brilliant. How does the voting work? I assume four new threads each with a poll?
