Any secondary voters for the world cup winner ?!
Ally Mac doesn't fit the thread's flair criteria IMO.

Here's what the o.p says:

-Off field and possibly even on field shenanigans

-Skill but in an “unfulfilled potential” kind of way- NOT JUST BEING A SKILLFUL PLAYER

-Controversy /drama

-Extravagant hair/appearance
There was no off/on field shenanigans. No controversy or drama. No extravagant hair/appearance. Plenty of skill but I'd say it was fairly well fulfilled.

Basically, he is and was just a very good player and model pro.

I’ll second Molango. Scoring one of the fastest ever goals in the EFL, and then essentially nothing else.
He's the current president of the PFA. The most unflairy job in the world.

Edit: I was at the Madejsky (or was it Hillsborough?) to see his goal. I think we lost 3-1 in the end, didn't we?

Alan Duffy great hair with massive sideburns was often the only substitute who would invariably come on and either commit a foul or boot the ball over the south stand towards the bakery
seconded (well, firsted actually, but whatever)

Lorenzo Pinamonte

I rest my f***ing case.
I'll second Pinamonte.

Withdean South stand chanted 'Italia, Italia'.

He scored some goals.

Then he couldnot risk the lure of the big time. At third division Brentford. Where he disappeared without a trace. What a guy.

He went on to bang in some serious goals in the Italian 🇮🇹 C1 division… that right there is flair overdrive.

That video has done it for me, end the competition now… it is over.

I think he’s put that together himself too… again, absolute FLAIR.

One minute before you see the first goal.

A penalty.

Is the electrical guitar accompaniment done by you?

Maybe 😎🎸

There’s one outrageous goal in that comp, Zlatan would have been proud.

Likes a running track round his grounds of choice.

Knew we should have signed him, would have been a God ! An Albion God.

Thomas was a lazy DJ who ran out his contract. The only flair involved here is the one that should have been ignited up his arse.

I am the only person in the world who eye-witnessed him play a long ball towards the North, and continue the leg swing, as most eyes followed the ball, till his boot collided with the flesh of an opponent in flabby pursuit.

It was magical. A brass-neck assault hidden in plain sight.

And he'd probably claim he didn't hear the opponent coming, owing to being deaf in one ear.

Class.

I remember him coming back from non-league football, aged 104, and playing a few matches. Couldn't run but could lay a ball from 60 yards on a sixpence.

I think you must be mixing him up. Adams released him at the end of the 99/00 season.

He wasn’t really an Adams type of player, and got moved out. Before that he made some of the Priestfield trips half bearable.
