[Albion] Who's the flairest of them all? 2024- NOMINATIONS THREAD

Good morning, back by popular demand is the world famous “Who’s the flairest of them all?” competition to determine the flairest player in Albion history.



This is the nominations thread, to qualify a player must be nominated and seconded. The following two players are qualifying automatically due to being the winner and runner up from the previous tournament:

-Frank Worthington (winner)

-Vicente (runner up)



Being the self appointed NSC Flair Expert, these are some of the things that we’re looking for when we talk about flair:



-Off field and possibly even on field shenanigans

-Skill but in an “unfulfilled potential” kind of way- NOT JUST BEING A SKILLFUL PLAYER

-Controversy /drama

-Extravagant hair/appearance



Have a think when you’re nominating and consider that if it’s someone that falls outside of this, or someone that’s either from a long time ago or a bit niche, it would help if you add a little blurb when you’re nominating.

Absolutely insane transfer saga for such a mediocre player. Quite skillful but never seemed to really fit in, f***ed off almost immediately

Alan Duffy. Scruffy, maverick, and did a shot that hit the left post, went behind the keeper, hit the right post and out again. I was behind the South goal and though I would never see such a thing again. Duffy just slumped away.

Graeme Smith. Played 6 games for the Albion and picked the ball out of the net about 106 times. Never knowingly got in the way of a shot. Also had a flair middle name: Meldrum

Maverick midfielder who strolled around the middle of the pitch. Absolutely slated the club when he left, seemed to disappear without a trace.

Kemy Agustin

Fun time tubster. Didn't seem to give one solitary shit about anything. Pretty skillful but showed no desire to show it. Also had a red beard for a bit?

Mo Dahoud- cultured international with flowing locks. Signs with the Albion to much excitement and proceeds to play about 5 games before being sent off and then never seen again. Beautiful
