.

But actually an enthralling game of curling would have been better than any of the English games so far. You are quite right there.

Spoken like a true "bitter because we're not there" Scotsman, Irishman or Welshman, which is it? Pretty sure you can't be English.

Interesting line up. Bet macca does the two Dirges - Hey Jude and The Long And Winding Road..I fecking HATE them both.

I will be watching the Grand Prix 1st and if there are any delays due to crashes it could overrun into the football, oh well.
Just done the maths on that and given the fastet lap time is 1 min 38 secs and the race is 57 laps long then without incident it will last a maximum 95 minutes at a very conservative pace of 1 min 40 secs per lap. Therefore, barring an absolute horror smash up we should be ok as we have 2 hours from the start until the game kicks off.
That said, depending on what the grid looks like that nuthobVettel could easily run Webber or Louis off early doors.....

Me,

Because I shall be on a flight..........................to Johannesburg ironically.

Flying with BA, but I don't think there is the technology to show live TV on planes yet?

So wont know the result until I land at the earliest :(

No, I just meant I was working as it is a Sunday morning here. For anti-English, read realistic, no-rose-tinted-glasses.

Missed the Slovenia demolition then?

me/us.

sunday would have been anastasia's seventh birthday so we're going to do something involving balloons and cake for our other children and then something family-ish to try and make it a better day.

Me. Would have watched it but had made other arrangements involving childcare which I can't now get out of. I thought the game started at 7.30pm not 3pm.

I have been on flights before during big games and you normally get updated by the pilot, but i suppose that depends on the captain
