Easy win against Somerset, poor, poor team. Yards,Muzza and Joyce showed them what's what.

Got Notts/Glos in t'next round, another easy win, let's just hope it's a repeat of 2006 in the final.

I can't understand why Langer batted so far down the order, a big plus for us.

Very happy though, no reason why we can't turn Gloucester over on our ground if as expected they get past Notts.

When is the final?

Final is down for the 25th of July at Lords, will clash with the tour de france stage tackling the legendary Mont Ventoux. So will have a distraction on tv if we don't make it.

From the club website, lets hope the tickets are cheaper than Somersets £20, which seemed to put many of the locals from going yesterday:

Tickets on sale from Monday 8th June

Sussex have been rewarded with a home tie in the semi-finals of the Friends Provident Trophy after today's six-wicket win over Somerset at Taunton.

They will play either Gloucestershire or Nottinghamshire, whose outstanding semi is being played on June 16, at Hove on July 5.

Skipper Mike Yardy said: "It was what we wanted - a home tie. Any game at this stage is going to be tough because all the sides left in the competition are good outfits but we fancy our chances at Hove."

Tickets for the clash will be on sale from Monday 8th June, with pricing to be announced by Friday 5th June.

My journey to Lords is a 5 minutes walk so I guess my travel plans are in order. Be great to have repeat of the Lancs final when we took over the place.
