I'm not a fan. The subs chance of scoring immediately doubles.

As for the whole "Whoooo" thing, I guess it was funnyish when Birmingham fans started it many years ago. Along with calling Palace fans "Nigel", perhaps this is another habit that the new Brighton fans are adopting from what they've watched/heard on TV and read about on Twitter/NSC/FB etc.

Who?

Reminds me of when keepers are about to take kicks and everyone goes 'oooooo ah you sh*t ahhhhhhh'.

Sometimes funny, sometimes annoying. Depends how I'm feeling!

It IS funny.

And the fact that we now know that it annoys various humourless grumps, makes it even FUNNIER.

When a sub comes on.

Was this ever funny?
Does it continue to be funny?
Will it be funny forever?

I think you have made a very good point and in future we should greet all substitutions with a respectful silence. Also when the opposing goalkeeper takes a goal kick ???

My kids love it. I like it too - it's so naff, it's funny. If we genuinely thought it was hilarious, it'd be rubbish. We know it's rubbish and we enjoy the fact that it is so. I love people with a sense of the absurd - fellow BHA fans, I salute you!

Not really, but that's largely because often I don't know anything about the players coming on  However, it will be when Aguero, making his return from injury, comes off the bench against us in the Cup

Lol this. 1-0 up at home to city. Aguero Toure and Silva come on.
Whoooooo?

Surely the whole point of it is to say "who?" when it's someone brilliant and well known coming on? Not when it's someone unknown.

"And coming on, number 7, Luiz Suarez"

"WHO?"
