We've got Super Rob De Zerbi
He knows exactly what we need
Passing from the back
Lethal in attack
Brighton on the way up the League / to the Europa League / to the Champions League

Although this is a decent enough chant, surely for a manager that has us playing arguably THE best football of all time we can come up with a better chant....?

The oscar garcia song for example was a great way to show the manager what we're all about
The Oscar Garcia chant was absolute TOILET. "He's got a stubble like Barney Rubble..."

Roberto is forever
He is all I need to please me
He can stimulate and tease me
He won't leave in the night
I've no fear that he might desert me

Roberto is forever
Hold him up and then caress him
Touch him, stroke him and undress him
I can see every part
Nothing hides in the heart to hurt me

I quite like the one we already sing to the tune of Kingston Town - UB40 (I think), similar to one that Celtic sing?

Totally agree, feels too slow to generate the uptake achieved with other plays chants i.e OH AH Maupays, who's that man from argentina, Bissouma.

Gimme gimme could be the one..

On the topic of chants, was disappointed with the reaction for Mac Allister with no real song to get behind and show our appreciation. What happened to following Mac Allister song which has vanished?

Ali Ali Ali Ali Ali Mac Allister
Our Argentine,
You are divine

Nice and easy. Tried to bring it back on and was left with a lot of confused faces around...
Gimme gimme is defo the one to try, especially if we beat Liverpool on Saturday. It’s fun and catchy and could be sung with a joyful abandonment, believing maybe, just maybe the lyrics might one day come true.

perhaps because most fans realise it’s unrealistic that RDZ will get us to the CL this season or possibly even the next - I would feel embarrassed if that was our song and we had a shitty season in 23/4 or ended up just staying in the top 10 this season) 😊

Past tense works better imo - if and when it happens!

Gimme gimme gimme Roberto De Zerbi
He took us on a journey
To the Champions League
Do football songs need to be factually accurate? :) In any case, we can always swap Champions League for Europa League. That song's a winner. I've been singing it to myself for months ever since it was first suggested and once you start, it's hard to stop.

Got a slight variation to this that could work….

We’ve got super Rob De Zerbi
We’ve got the greatest football team
With Dunky at the back, and Welbeck in attack
We’re Brighton from Sussex by the sea

I was trying to make it about him rather than other players... but whatever, i think it is a good, easy to sing and catchy tune.

Who’s that man from Bres-cia
Who’s that man we all adore
Roberto is his name
We score 3 goals a game
And we won’t mention Graham anymore

Keep it simple - use the tune of the Conga:

Ooh, ooh, ooh - Roberto De Zerbi

MacAllister and Moises Caicedo
Adam Lallana and a ripped up Welbeck
Big Bob saving and Ferguson scoring
The speed of Mitoma and Lamptey jinking

That's entertainment, that's entertainment

A turn by Gross and the ball stuck to his boots
An electric Amex and a pissed up Tony Bloom
Flag covered walls and the cry of the North Stand
Floodlights going out and a kick in the balls

I say that's entertainment, that's entertainment

La la la la la la

La la la la la la
La la la la la la

De Zerbi celebrating down the touchline
De Zerbi unleashing the total quality of Solly March
Getting a cab and travelling on the Park & Ride
Reading the graffiti about Palace getting beat

I say that's entertainment, that's entertainment

La la la la la la

Let's not overcomplicate this. Magic Moments seems to be the pack leader at the moment, so let's ALL, with ONE voice, get behind this one. Perry is also, I believe, of Italian heritage.

Shame is it such a lame tune and words. i think he deserves something much more upbeat and energetic.

Heard this being sung on Saturday (to the Wham tune):

'Wake me up before you go go
Who needs Potter when we've got Roberto'

Hang on UB40??

I thought it was Magic Moments. Either that's wrong or we are really out of tune.

Us fans, there's no need to feel down
I said, us fans, pick yourself off the ground
I said, us fan, there's a new man in town
There's no need to be unhappy

It's fun to play under Rob De Zerbi
It's fun to play under Rob De Zerbi-i
He makes us play with real flair, it's really a joy
He's made Solly March play like Cruyff

Football fans are simple creatures who enjoy a simple tune. But it could be sung with a bit more tempo and gusto, I'll admit.

-Let it Be-

When we found ourselves in times of trouble, Potter running to Chelsea
Here comes a man with wisdom, De Zerbi
And in our hour of darkness, he said "why don't we destroy our XG?"
Speaking words of wisdom, De Zerbi
De Zerbi, De Zerbi, De Zerbi, De Zerbi
He's learning english quickly, De Zerbi.
