Notts
I kinda support notts a little bit, have done so since moving this way in 2007. Albion are my number 1 and always will be, they come first. But yea i like notts cos they're the unfashionable team in nottingham. I also like burton albion. These are both nice little clubs who will never really do anything but it's cheap reliable footy and you can stand all game.

I was born and brought up in Australia yet I support Brighton... It depends who your parents support.

Fortunately that's not always true. My mum (RIP) was from Manchester and a United fan. My dad has lived in Sussex for the past 46 years, but is a Londoner and still a Gunners fan. I was brought up in Brighton with little pressure from either side, so as a kid I was able to go local, not nurture, with my support.

I think if we ever moved, I would probably go and support the local team, so if it was somewhere in Cheshire for example I would try and get to see Manchester united, as it would be great to see European football, and a very successful team. Ie winning cups etc.

I've lived in Nottingham since 1983 (more than half my life) but have only ever supported the Albion. There's something about Forest I don't like, they're a bit like Leeds, living off past glories that are no longer relevant.

Notts County are the far more friendlier club, with even better (and certainly longer) history than Forest. 45,000+ crowds 60 years ago! My brother-in-law has a Notts season ticket and I sometimes go with him, so if I was inclined to support one or the other it would be them.
I lived in Nottingham when County beat us in the play off final. I went to a couple of County games back then and they played good football, but never felt involved.

Meanwhile, my mate lived in digs overlooking Forest's terraced West Bridgeford end so we got to see the games from his bedroom window quite frequently. And we'd go to Forest more often as they were a decent top flight side (Des Walker, Stuart Pearce, Teddy Sheringham etc).

Both have nice grounds but Forest's is lovely - it still has a proper old fashioned feel to it, but is decent sized, attracts good gates in a great location right by the river and only 10 minutes from the town centre. So if I still lived there, I'd support Forest. Plus County's effort to drum up Forest supporters for their big day against Albion at Wembley was f***ing embarrassing. On the day, Forest fans came and supported County in good numbers and still County fans detest Forest. Sad gits.

When I lived in the West Midlands, having moved there from South Wales, I had the choice of:-

Aston Villa 6.9 miles
Walsall 8.5 miles
Birmingham City 9.3 miles
West Bromwich Albion 9.6 miles
Wolverhampton Wanderers 15.6 miles

I have no idea why I opted to follow the Blues. Villa Park was easiest to get to and I had mates who supported them. SOTV, say I, though.
