Kenwyne Jones , not sure what sort of contract he is on but really like the look of Jota (Brentford) ,

Jones- if that's who you meant, wage wise- is supposed to be on about £40,000+ per week at Cardiff, of which plucky little Bournemouth are currently paying every penny.

I thought he had already signed for spurs, and then loaned back?

I thought that too - think it went through in the Jan window.

Think the below could be worthy additions, would still need to find a left back and a striker who can score:

Chris Gunter (Reading) or James Perch (Wigan) to fill the right back slot.
Jamie Mackie (Forest) as can play on the wing and up front and knows how to play a ball in to the box.
James McClean (Wigan) as also knows how to cross.
Dele Alli (MK Dons) young, creative midfielder though do expect a Prem club to sign him and loan him out to a Championship club.

Alli is a Spurs player I believe, loaned back to MK Dongs. Doubt he'll get in the Spurs side next season, so you never know, they might lend him out to somebody.

I really liked Mackie when we played Reading recently, although his goals seem to have dried up in the last few games after a bit of a spree before that. I'd have thought McClean would certainly be off from Wigan if they go down.

Jed Wallace please. (I know we have tried before but he must be pissed off playing at Portsmouth). As an "exile" I watch Swindon quite a bit and Michael Smith couldn't be worse than Best, CMS or O'G. And much cheaper enabling us to go for a decent defender or two.

Perch, McLean, Mackie............

Might be tempted to take a punt on Jon Akinde from Barnet. Slow starter career-wise but had two consecutive good seasons in non league and for next to nothing......?

Ben Reeves from MK Dons could be a good shout, especially considering they tend to let players go for peanuts. 23 year-old attacking midfielder that came through Southampton's ranks, good creative player that chips in with a few goals as well.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas would be good, but maybe unrealistic with Brizzle coming back up.

Dele Alli, I'm pretty sure Spurs already have.

Edit Beaten to it.

Some players who I believe are still due to be out of contract this summer

Anthony Knockaert - Leicester. Probably good enough to get another lower prem club but would love him here.
Jon Flanegan - Liverpool. If we are looking for a left back again, the promise of first team football may tempt him? Maybe unrealistic.
Jonas Gutierrez - Newcastle. Just, because.
Zamora - PLEASE.
Maya Yoshida - Southampton. Not a bad defender.
Glenn Whelan - Stoke. Probably staying in the prem.

Luke AYLING from Bristol City at right back please.

I'd make him very welcome. I might even put AYLING on the back of my shirt.
