I'm absolutely gutted that we're not playing Orient on the original date. Mainly because it was to be the highlight of my brother's Christmas break in the UK, but also because it's the nearest thing to a derby game this season and will probbaly now be re-arranged mid-week at some point.

Instead we're faced with the utter BINFEST that is going to be West Ham - a game that we'll definitely lose in not a particularly fantastic stadium to a not particularly good team. The Albion 'support' is going to made up, on the large part, by wankers that haven't been to a Brighton match since Tottenham or Cardiff, and season ticket holders bitching about sitting in the seat number printed on their ticket.

Orient would have been quality, a proper 'old skool' away day with proper Brighton & Hove Albion supporters, not a bunch of big game Charlie TWATS.

Orient, though I'm not sure how good the atmosphere would be now without the terrace.

I have a feeling West Ham will be a big let down.

We've played at Millwall 3 times this year alone, that should be more than enough to satisfy anyone's play-a-shit-London-team urges.

What about Brentford for those for whom "playing a shit london team and taking a battering" is seen as a good day out???

I don't care. Either way, I still get to KICK THE SHIT out of a cockney. :jester:

If I can be arsed to go, that is.

You obviously never went to any of the Orient games between 1997 and 2001.

No, of course you didn't. :)

I did and more often than not a great day out was spoilt by a defeat, except the last visit when we almost outnumbered them, again, and won convincingly :clap2:

DW should be well up for it this year, whenever we play it, as he was sent off there years ago for swearing at the lino

To be honest, Orient will be cracking anyway. Local away games in the evening are always top occasions.

Orient with out a doubt, Now it's just become a farce at Upton park with a love in love fest of glory boys. Gutted lets hope Zamora sticks 5 past us. I'll cheer everyone as the goals are rattled in.

I have my hammers tickets but may well just check them away - last thing i want is a day out listening to people asking each other who our number 5/6/7 are?

I am gutted that we are not playing Orient. It is the only team in London I have not seen us play against, and also would have been the 108th stadium I have seen the Albion play at.

Instead we have the silence of Upton Park to look forward to, a 3-0 defeat and a BITCHFEST on NSC that will rumble on for a few more weeks, and continue to show what a bunch of self centred tossers some of the Daily Mail readers on here truly are.

Can't see any situation where I'd want the Albion to get stuffed  :nono:

Nor me in general but this whole ticket carry on has left a bitter taste - as i say i may not bother going and dump my tickets in protest at Perrys carry on and the treatment of loyal season ticket holders . As for Zamora he's the only player of recent times worthy of the stripes.
