As I've said on another thread (Ask The Club), I was invited "as a member of the Falmer For All team" (to quote Tony Bloom's letter addressed to me), not as an NSC representative or as a supporter chosen at random from the Club's database.

I think if I had been asked to "represent NSC's views", I would have declined the invitation. NSC doesn't have views. It has thousands of members with HUNDREDS of views. No-one individual can adequately represent the diversity of opinion.

As for "randomly selecting" people - there's nothing wrong with that. But it won't make those people's views any more "representative" than mine would be - or anyone else named in this thread.

....I seem to agree with these posters more often than not, so I guess they represent my way of thinking about all things BHA. Perhaps it would be better though to have people with different views to your own in which case Acker, TCB and Kosh would be right up there

I'd of randomly selected from the 6500 thousand or so that are going to Withdean tomorrow. Say every 100th person through each turnstyle gets an invite to attend the next meeting in the Portakabin, with instructions on the invite that if they can't make it, to give it to the person they sit next to. That way it is 100% random, and 100% representative of the fans views.
