Are any such clauses likely to still be in effect for the Arsenal signings -- especially for White? Genuine question.
If winning the league having played x amount of games in the season triggers an add on, it should still be active, unless there is some other clause that cancels it, like maybe once he has played a certain number of games, we get paid out on that and any other add on is void. Likely that Mac Allister has more value attached to his performance than Ben and Trossard combined though.

What I meant was, will outcome x or y still trigger add ons for us two, three, four seasons down the line? This will differ from contract to contract, of course, just wondering if the add ons in White's contract are still in effect several seasons later.

I don't know a single City fan so them winning the title would make no difference to me.
Another title win for City would always come with an asterisk attached and would therefore be meaningless to anyone not a City fan.
I seem to remember that their fans were generally ok back in the 80s, I don't remember there was ever a time the same could be said for Liverpool or Arse fans.

Surprised Arsenal are last. Can't see why anyone would want Man City winning it - how BORING. Liverpool isn't that much more interesting either and the fawning over Klopp ending with a title win would be fairly nauseating.

Definitely Arsenal for me, as much as Ben White's a bit of a weird prick.

Yeah, I know what you meant, only the clubs and the agent know for sure, but usually, add ons are not just for the next season or two, it will be as long as that club has him under contract. With a sell on, you could get a payout from the next couple of transfers a player makes, if sell ons were part of the next transfer too.

City. They might be financial cheats but the fans are alright and we've got to choose one.

AFTV is a joy to watch when they lose, I don't want Trossard winning anything and I'm not a fan of their plastic fan base. They are still bang in contention for the league but the ground was half full on 90 minutes yesterday. Poor.

I was born at a time when everyone supported Liverpool because they won everything so I've always had a dislike for them. The whole Klopp thing is enough for anyone to not want them winning. Imagine the fawning for weeks on end? Pass the sick bucket. I'd feel pleased for Ali Mac though but that's about it.

Got it, wasn't aware it was common for add ons to apply indefinitely.

Voted Arsenal on the basis of seeing someone different (in recent times) win the league. But then I remembered Trossard and that diving sun bed advert so I now reserve the right to change my mind.

Hope Liverpool & Alexis win it

Never cared about them much either way before the last couple of seasons, but Arsenal can f*** right off. Their shitbag fans and irritating pundits would be creaming themselves for decades. Genuinely saw a clip of an Arsenal 'watchalong streamer' (🙄) calling for Arteta to be sacked when Villa scored their first... It wasn't a joke either, he doubled down on it. Throw Ben White and Trossard in, along with the prolific cheat Saka and whining prick Arteta, and yeah, I'm not too fond of them.

The Liverpool/Klopp wankfest would also get boring very quickly, though it would be nice to see Macca win it and presumably get us some more cash for his transfer.

I've gone with City, just because it's so 'meh' when they win it.

never Arsenal.
Despicable, disgusting club from top to bottom - from lego headed weirdo manager to pathetic, spineless fanbase, and of course the club attitude towards sexual assault should never be forgotten - brush it under the carpet and hope it goes away, purely because he's a 'good player'.
Arsenal are the very worst football club on earth, lets be honest.
If City win it, it doesnt matter.
Liverpool are just about acceptable, but i - and you - and everyone on the planet  - knows at least half a dozen of the most infuriating, fairweather liverpool fans of the gobby and annoying variety, and them being happy isnt good, is it? They take away from the actual decent fans they have. But at least they're a proper club.

In short: not the goons.

Liverpool.

My first proper girlfriend was an Arsenal STH and we used to go together when Albion were away, back in the 70s. I never forgave her for dumping me for the manager of the local International Stores, just because he had a car. Shallow bitch. So I hate Arsenal.

I can't stand all these people who wax lyrical about Manchester City. Yes, they are a fantastic side and a joy to watch, but never forget the regime that is behind all of that.

Voted City, but really I am more Anyone but Arsenal now. It’s weird because for years I disliked Liverpool and like Arsenal but Arteta seems like an absolute **** and their fans have now turned into entitled wankers.

Putting yourself at serious risk of supporting Chelsea in a title race in the future
Yeah, that's the flaw in that logic but it is a low risk, not serious.

Anyway. Fukk Liverpool. If they want to lose to Palace at this stage of the season, they deserve nothing. Fukk 'em, the useless arseholes.
